STROH JAEGERTEE With Flip Top, Austria |

Ambering orange colour. Well this does have a very peculiar nose which is very intense, sweet and spicy with cinnamon stick and hot rum punch notes along with what smells like airplane glue. Wow! It takes off in the mouth. Sweet and tangy - think of a very sweet, spicy, liquefied apple strudel. An acquired taste. |

Stroh Jaegertee (Hunter’s Tea) is a favourite rum-based liqueur of Austrian skiers after a long day on the slopes. It is served hot, as the producer says, to banish the cold, warm your insides and pick you up if you’re feeling jaded. They suggest serving 1 oz (30 mL) Stroh Jaegertee with 4 oz (120 mL) boiling water or brewed tea. |
