Tè BHEAG Connoisseurs’ Blend Gaelic Whisky, Unfiltered |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Praban Na Linne |
Orange amber colour. Spicy, slightly neutral, caramel tinged, woodsy smell, which suggests that the bottle might be corked! Light, dry and somewhat flavourless, hints of honey, pepper and caramel. Try again. |

Té Bheag’ (pronounced ‘chey vek’, not ‘tea bag’) – it means ‘a wee dram’ in Gaelic – is unfiltered to preserve more flavour. It has the richness of toffee and delicate peaty tones and a long warm finish. One of the Scotch world’s best values, it is a blend of several single malts, including some from Speyside and the west coast. The Praban Na Linne distillery itself is located on the Isle of Skye.
