Cuvée Cognac was the very first creation of Jean-Paul Camus, the fifth generation master blender at the House of Camus. He uses only blue-tinted stemware when blending so that he may concentrate solely on the aromas and flavours and not be seduced by the colour. The distillates come from the ‘round and rich’ Borderies region and the ‘subtler, more elegant’ Grande Champagne zone, and are aged at the upper end of VSOP designation. Our panel’s tasting note: The Borderies Cognacs bring a peach aroma and almost sweet centre to this finely made libation. (Aug. 2001) Price $ 82.95
