Single grain whiskies are very rare as most grain whiskey finds itself into Blended whiskies. There are only [a few] other such products in the world. Many people, including Jim Murray, world-renowned whiskey expert, consider Cooley's grain distillery to be one of the best in the world and as such Greenore was developed to highlight this. (www.cooleywhiskey.com) This 8-year-old is the first offering from this line. Down the road, we can look forward to 10-, 16- and 18-year-old versions. |
