| Released on March 31st, I was able to assess this Cognac courtesy of the agent. Availability is limited to two Toronto stores, Crossroads and Yonge & Summerhill. It rated ***. Deep amber colour. Lovely, complex, faintly earhy, ripe plums, honeyed vanilla stick and caramel on the nose. Smooth, dry, refined, caramel tinged, ripe plum flavours with good mid palate and a lingering, lifted finish. |
