MERLOT ICEWINE 2004 VQA Niagara Peninsula
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Pillitteri Estates
Light red colour. Juicy strawberry jam nose. Spicy, sweet, caramel and ripe plum flavours with some candy apple hints on the finish. Last tasted/judged January 2006 (***). Seems a little less opulent than when initially judged. My impression is that these red icewines will not age as well as the whites. CSPC 32169
