A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
Zafarrancho distills their tequila in copper alembic stills. This method takes a great deal of time and effort but the payoff is a much more satisfying, rich spirit. Reposado means 'rested' and this refers to the mandatory ageing the tequila must undergo, from two months to one year in wood. Ageing in oak tames the intense agave flavour and softens the palate. Enjoy this tequila as you would a fine cognac or scotch. |
