| Our panel’s tasting note: Colour of a very ripe strawberry. Lovely aromas of strawberry preserves, jam, dried currants, ripe black cherry, spicy honey and a mineral tone. Sweet, but with balancing acid. Long, round, ripe strawberry finish. Try with a bitter black chocolate mousse or with a strawberry flan with custard. (Aug. 2001) |
