This 100% blue agave tequila has a light gold colour. Intense, rather peppery, spicy, caramel nose. Dry, peppery, caramel-tinged, agave flavours. It is aged up to 3 years in small, charred, white oak barrels. This 100% blue agave Tequila is aged for up to three years in white oak barrels. Winner of a GOLD MEDAL in the 2007 SAN FRANCISCO SPIRITS COMPETITION, it sells for $50 in the US. |

In Spanish, El Mayor means 'the greatest'. Aņejo (which means 'aged') must be matured for at least a year, but this tequila is aged up to 3 years in small, charred, white oak barrels. Made from 100% blue agave, this is a tequila for quiet contemplation and late-night conversations. |
