Pastis and France go hand in hand. Sitting in a café in Paris or along the French Riviera, nothing can beat enjoying a glass of anise flavoured pastis. Traditionally enjoyed by adding one part pastis with four parts chilled water, or try it as Ernest Hemingway liked it – one part pastis and four parts champagne. This won a Silver Medal at the Concours Général Agricole 2008 in Paris. |
