SILVER CACHAÇA Brazil
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Haus Weber
Clear and colourless. Sweet, seductive, spicy, caramel, brown sugar and honeyed yam nose. Ditto on the palate which is silky and delicious. Warm banana-yam creme brulee flavours with hints of sugar cane. Don’t miss this stunning, award-winning, easy-sipping Cachaca, which is the distillation of fermented sugarcane juice. A terrific choice for licensee spirit lists. CSPC 168724

"Winner of Best White Spirit at the 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. TASTING NOTE: Clear. Banana pudding, black pepper, meringue, and straw aromas with a hint of mint leaf follow through on a silky, lively entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with exception depth and smoothness. Finishes with a warming wave of peppery spice, slate, cane stalk, and plantains in cream. A very flavorful and expertly crafted cachaça. Score: 94 (www.tastings.com, Nov. 6, 2008)" Price $ 39.95
