Clear and colourless. Interesting, very slightly spicy nose. Slightly spicy, faintly sweet, gently honeyed, grainy, grass-tinged flavours with a lingering, crisp And yet harmonious finish. |

This vodka is named after Brian Boru, Ireland’s great unifier in the early 11th century. TASTING NOTE: The nosing passes find pleasantly dry, grainy and stone-like aromas with subtle notes of grass, grain kernel, beans and granite. Entry is clean, off-dry and intensely grainy; the midpalate tastes are more stony/mineral and grainy. Ends on a grainy, sweet, tangy and spirity note. Superb/Highly Recommended. Score: 90-95 (F. Paul Pacult, Wine Enthusiast, May 2008) |
