THE DISTILLERY EDITION 10 YEARS OLD SCOTCH WHISKY Single Highland Malt
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer EDRADOUR
Medium amber colour. Slightly spicy, ripe plum-prune nose with some vanilla stick notes. Quite dry, slightly spicy, harmonious, plummy-date flavours with slightly honeyed, lingering, caramel-tinged finish. A tad on the spicy side for me. Last appeared in Vintages (**) on November 8, 2008 at $74.95. CSPC 904995

TASTING NOTE: The typical smell of Edradour announces a very great whisky. The taste, somewhere between sherry and soap (?) is marked by grilled barley. A very fresh whisky. This special edition is different from the traditional 10 years old version. A very pleasant and surprising finish ...
