TASTING NOTE: Riesling-based icewine is my favorite hands down. It has greater complexity and balance than other grapes because of the terrific combination of acidity and fruit. Notes of ripe pear, apricot, peach and honey. Inniskillin certainly knows how to make a masterful icewine. This is truly a benchmark of the breed. Pair with: chicken with a mushroom sauce, ribollita, lobster thermidor, crab salad, hard cheeses. Score: 93 (Natalie MacLean, www.nataliemaclean.com, Nov. 21, 2009) Price $ 69.95
