A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
Though there will be subtle variation from distillation to distillation, and even barrel to barrel, the mark of a quality producer is the consistency of their house style. Jim Murray, in the 2007 Whiskey Bible, gave this Bourbon a score of 94 and described it as “just one of those effortlessly brilliant whiskeys that seem to get it right without trying.” It displays an astonishingly soft and delicate nose, with a palate that provides a gradual build-up of spice to go along with the murmur of fruit, and a long vanilla-laden finish. |
