| Bright ambering gold colour. Intense, slightly smoky, plummy-caramel nose. Solid, quite dry, fairly spicy, somewhat peppery, medium to medium-full bodied, slightly smoky, baked plum flavours with a lingering finish. This whisky has a whiff of sherry from to its partial maturation in sherry casks. Last appeared in Vintages (**+/***) on September 26, 2009 at $55.95 and was Recommended. |
