Light orange yellow colour. Intense, spicy, somewhat antiseptic nose with some plastacine notes. Dry, peppery, somewhat awkward and slightly bitter. The nose and palate are alive with peat, barley, vanilla and honey notes along with smoke and coffee bean. This is certainly not a shy Scotch, but there’s enough sweetness to soften the edge and give a nice definition to the palate. A very distinctive and vivacious Single Malt that will make an ideal companion for contemplative sunsets, or relaxing with friends at the end of the day. |
