TASTING NOTE: ... The early nosing passes detect nuances of old flowers, parchment, and black raisins; aeration time of another seven minutes encourages the addition of spice, old oak, and fabric (cotton more than wool) to the aromatic mix; not an assertive or aggressive bouquet, but firm nonethelesss. The palate entry is gloriously rich, fruity, resiny, and clean; at midpalate there are seductive, multilayered tastes of maple, palm oil, sap, light toffee, marzipan, spice and almond butter. Ends luxuriously rich, concentrated, oily, viscous, sweet, and oaky ... Highly Recommended. (F. Paul Pacult, Kindred Spirits 2, 2008) Price $ 99.95
