Although the recipe for this chestnut liqueur is a closely guarded secret, we know that Louis Coudere uses the fruit of wild chestnut trees found in the ancient forests in the mountains of the Massif Central, just north of Languedoc-Roussillon. The producer recommends enjoying it neat, on ice or mixed with a white still or sparkling wine. Price $ 28.80
