A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
The house of A. Edmond Audry was founded in 1878. In the early 1950s, the then patriarch, Aristide Boisson, passed away, and so it was decided to shutter the operation. In 1978, under Bernard Boisson, it finally reopened. Today, Audry is referred to as 'the best Cognac you have never heard of' (Time Magazine). Their Réserve Spéciale is made with a blend of fine Cognacs ranging in age from 15-30 years. The result is a refined and elegant spirit with aromas and flavours of caramel and black tea. A wonderful after dinner digestif. |
