| Torrontés, the great aromatic grape of Argentina, is an emerging force on the international wine scene. As Jay Miller notes below, these wines can be reminiscent of great classic aromatic varieties, and tend to show its own signature exotic spice and lemon meringue notes. Try it with Pad Thai with lemon grass chicken. TASTING NOTE: Very aromatic, an imaginary blend of Muscat, Gewurztraminer, and Riesling, dry and spicy. Score: 90 (Jay Miller, erobertparker.com, Oct. 2010) |
