Named for Pedro González de Mendoza. Mendoza was the chief confidant of the Spanish monarchs Isabelle and Ferdinand, the same monarchs who financed Columbus' 1492 voyages. This brandy is aged in American oak casks that have been previously used for Pedro Ximénez Sherry and old Oloroso Sherry wines. With aromas of spun sugar, dried plum, chocolate and coffee bean, this dry, ripe, rich brandy is smooth as glass. It's full bodied with a long, lush finish. Price $ 83.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
Tasting Date vintages release - November 26, 2011
