TASTING NOTE: Here’s a unique and intense Bourbon that should delight newcomer and connoisseur alike. Opens with an intriguing nose of brown sugar, nutmeg, candied orange, praline and apricot jam, all backed by woodsmoke character. Smooth as glass texturally speaking, with some fiery spiciness emerging towards the finish. Good complexity. Long and layered. Will show finest when enjoyed neat. (Vintages panel, Oct. 2011) |
