| Intense purple colour. Slightly earthy, spicy, baked, plummy, black cherry nose with lots of black licorice notes. Dry, tangy, medium to medium-full bodied, licorice-tinged, warm ripe plum flavours with a lingering, crisp, vanilla-tinged finish. Harmonious, well balanced, and quite delightful! Note that the average price of this red in the US is $31. The recommended/best buy 2006 (***) was released on December 10, 2010 at $26.95. |

It exhibits gorgeous notes of kirsch liqueur, licorice, and smoked herbs, a full-bodied, fleshy mouthfeel, pure fruit, sweet tannin, and a long finish.
