A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
TASTING NOTE: ... Taste: surging oaks on delivery. Then a backing off to allow a more measured, mildly molassed sweetness to interlink with some orangey citrus. Finish: slow spice arrival, a brushing of hickory and some developing rye fruitiness. Overall balance and complexity: beautiful bourbon from the school of complex shades and inferences. Score: 93 (Jim Murray, Whisky Bible, 2010) |
