This wine was the recipient of a 2012 Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence in Ontario Wines, and Gold Medal for Best Vinifera Icewine at the 2012 Ontario Wine Awards. TASTING NOTE: This one is delicate and has great balance with it's sweetness and acidity. Honeyed pear and apricot mix well with the baked honey-apple and all of that leads to a fantastic finish.
