HENRI BARDOUIN |
Light yellow colour. Extremely appealing, intense, spicy, sweet, black licorice nose. Sweet, lovely, viscous, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, spicy, lifted anise flavours with a long, lingering finish. A classic. Last appeared in Vintages (unpresented ISD) on February 15, 2008 at $35.25. |

TASTING NOTE: From a traditional Provençal producer, this has a gentle character and plenty of anise aroma, but a honeyed, creamy hint that is soft and appealing. Top up 1:7 with cold water. (Susy Atkins, telegraph.co.uk, The Daily Telegraph U.K., July 9, 2012) |
