LUIGI BOSCA |
| Deep intense purple colour. Spicy, black cherry puree nose with some toasty, vanilla notes. Dry, harmonious, medium bodied, gently juicy, plummy-cherry flavours with a lingering, somewhat cedary, vibrant finish. Ready-to-drink. Perhaps even better than the recommended/best buy 2008 (**) released on January 21, 2012 at $17.95. |

| Syrah is the fourth-most planted grape variety in Argentina. The country's diverse regions have the capacity to produce full and fruity versions (often labeled as Shiraz) and more streamlined, spicy wines such as this. TASTING NOTE: Inviting black cherry, blackberry, wood smoke and black pepper. Lovely ripe fruit centre and plush texture with abundant spicy accents, and substantial, ripe tannins. Long, flavourful finish. Enjoy with pepper steaks or roast beef au jus. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2012) |
