Gold Medal winner at the 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. TASTING NOTE: Appearance: Crystal clear, lovely body. On swirling it leaves a very light coating on the glass which then seems to almost evaporate off the side. First Impression: Has that good tequila smell. It has all the right elements right at the start: savory, citrusy lime, pineapple, at first, then a sort of mineral salts at the end. Taste: Sweet savory notes, like a sweet olive brine and a lime citrus with salt develops very quickly, racing each other for your attention. Drying but bright taste, slight alkali tang and touches of leather. Very clean tasting. Finish is bracing and very smooth.
