Clear light yellow colour. Very spicy, sweet, peppermint and cinnamon stick on the nose. Sweet, cinnamon, vanilla, intense clove and nutmeg flavours. A little goes a long way. A great after-skiing, pick-me-up. |

Tasting note: A pale gold liqueur/bitter, this has a complex nose of many classic baking spices, including cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, mace and there are hints of anise floating around to. Very smooth and rounded, a hint of sweetness with all the spices carrying through into a lengthy finish. The manufacturers suggest consuming with tonic or soft drinks, but if the need to mix arises, club soda would be the ticket so as not to detract from this arresting spirit. Score – 90.
