| Medium golden yellow colour. Slightly spicy, gently sweet, honeyed, caramel-tinged, apple-pear puree nose. Slightly off dry, medium bodied, faintly honeyed, somewhat spicy, fairly intense, ripe apple puree flavours with a lingering finish. It comes with a sizable apple in the bottle meaning that the actual liquid Calvados contents is only 500 ml of the declared 750 ml. Last appeared in Vintages (**+) on March 31, 2012 at $59.95 and was Recommended. |
