DELICE DE SUREAU ELDERFLOWER LIQUEUR ARTISANALE
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ST-GERMAIN
A repeat of the November 27, 2010 release (300 cases of 6). Rated *** (Sweet, Fragrant & Spicy). Here is my tasting note: Pale straw colour. Slightly spicy, attractive, ripe, elderflower aromatics. Spicy, medium bodied, honeyed, slightly sweet, gently zesty, floral, ripe lychee-melon-lemon-elderflower flavours with a lingering, harmonious finish that has hints of tangerine marmalade. TASTING NOTE: Pale golden color. Vibrant aromas of elderflower and lychee follow through on a soft, supple entry to a fruity, moderately sweet medium-to-full body with tangy tropical fruit sweetness and great depth. Finishes with a long, graceful, herb accented fade. An instant classic and pure magic for cocktails. Score: 97 (www.tastings.com, Sept. 10, 2008) Price $ 49.95
