Tasting note: Pisco is normally associated with summer parties [and] vats of sours … This however shows a previously hidden side to Chile’s national spirit. It’s very fragrant, all jasmine flowers, tangerine and honey and, with your eyes shut, you’d think it was a Muscat-based dessert wine rather than a Muscat-based spirit. The palate is soft, silky and as sweet as syrup with the flavour of orange blossom honey. Score – HHHH 1/2 (out of 5). (Dave Broom, Wine Magazine, March 2002)
