| TASTING NOTE: Highly attractive topaz/amber color; very good purity. Holy-moly, the opening fragrance has dried red (cherries, red currants) and black fruits (plums) and new leather galore; secondary sniffs following another seven minutes of exposure to air add scents of light vanilla, almond paste, nougat and clove. Entry is toasty/roasted, nutty and oaky; mid palate flavor profile offers chunky tastes of brown butter, honey and vanilla bean.
