A Best Buy
TASTING NOTE: A serious dry rose, the 2012 Rose Roc-Epine, made from mostly Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, offers up a knockout profile of ripe cherries, currants, rose petal and crushed stone-like minerality to go with a medium-bodied, rich, yet beautifully dry and focus mouthfeel. No lightweight, with solid extract and density, this impressive Tavel stays light, refreshing and clean through the finish. Enjoy it over the coming year or two. Drink now-2013.
