| Medium ambering day-glo gold colour. Intense, slightly peppery, vanilla-driven, plummy, sweet caramel nose. Very faintly sweet, medium-full bodied, extracty, slightly honeyed, very spicy, plummy, solid, Bourbon flavours with some caramel notes on the lingering, slightly cedary finish. Better than when it last appeared in Vintages (**+) on February 2, 2013 at $47.95 and was an Explorer Selection. |

| TASTING NOTE: A sensational Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, this single barrel project is a powerful, pedal-to-the- metal, balls-to-the-walls style of bourbon that has been aged 10 years and has 45% alcohol, which makes it 90 proof. Seemingly bigger than that in the mouth, it is full-bodied with lots of caramelized citrus, maple syrup, smoky crème brûlée and cappuccino-like notes as well as terrific fruit from the fermentation.
