AÑEJO TEQUILA Mexico |

CAVA DE DON ANASTACIO |
Light yellow colour. Appealing, rather intense, faintly peppery, alfalfa-hay-tinged, wheatabix nose. Dry, medium bodied, intense, very spicy, faintly peppery, slightly sweetish, herbal, agave-mustard flavours with a lingering, high acid, fairly cedary finish. A tad aggressive for my taste to be a “sipping” Tequila! |

TASTING NOTE: Attractive nose offering notes of sea spray, green olive, green chili pepper, saltwater taffy and sandalwood. Briny and spicy with lovely toasty and smoke touches. Very approachable, this is a fine sipping Tequila. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2014) |
