| Here is my note: Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, bright, ripe, plum-cherry nose with cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, fairly cedary, very spicy, tangy, blueberry flavours with a crisp finish. A much better repeat of the 2010 (*/*+) released on July 6, 2013 at $16.95. |

| TASTING NOTE: The rich, dark fruit aromas here are elevated by a lifted floral quality that suggests violets. If you think that all sounds terrific, just wait until you taste it. Smooth and fruity with a lovely dry finish, this is an easy-drinking crowd-pleaser that was made for a summer barbecue. If you don't have a barbecue, borrow one. This is awesome with gourmet hamburgers, sausages or even barbecue-prepared meat-lovers' pizza. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2012) |
