Tasting note: An amber gold whiskey with a restrained vanilla, corn syrup nose followed by a whack of spice which smooths out quite nicely. Good harmonious length with a touch of sweetness in the finish. The whiskey style is probably very similar to the original Paddy Flaherty s sales techniques. The most successful salesman of the firm, Cork Distilleries renamed the product to honour him. (Patricia Noonan, Wine Access First In Line E-Report, Jan. 11, 2003) |
