Bright medium-light yellow colour. Attractive, fairly intense, bright, somewhat cedary, honeyed, caramel-plum nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, fairly dense, harmonious, slightly spicy, gently cedary, ripe plum-lemon flavours with a lifted, maple syrup tinged, lingering finish. |

TASTING NOTE: From the home of Canada's first Single Malt, this 14-Year-Old offers suggestions of almond, vanilla and oak, with a hint of lightly baked coconut on the nose. In the mouth this is smooth and malty, with just the slightest touch of sweetness and a dash of orange citrus. A thoroughly pleasing, light and flavourful dram. (VINTAGES panel, June 2014) |
