CÔTE DES ROSES ROSÉ 2013 AP Languedoc
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer GÉRARD BERTRAND
Bright very pale light salmon pink colour. Slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, gently fruity, ripe plum nose. Thankfully dry (only 3 g/L residual sugar), medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, pleasant, fresh, berry-tinged, ripe, melon-plum-apple flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. Attractive bottle and ready-to-drink. This 13% alcohol blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah is a repeat of the recommended 2013 (**/**+) released on May 10, 2014 at $19.95. CSPC 373985

LCBO Note Status Recommended by Vintage Assessments!
A blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. TASTING NOTE: Aside from the unique, collectible glass stopper, this has a substantial nose and mouthful of aromas and flavours. Aromas of red berry fruit, wild herbs and mixed spice intro a medium-bodied, nicely textured splash of ripe strawberry, tangy cranberry and red cherry mingling with cherry cordial and red licorice. It finishes dry and refreshing looking for a deli board or crumbled chèvre over mesclun mix.
