TAITTINGER PRESTIGE BRUT ROSÉ CHAMPAGNE AC |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |

Michael Vaughan's "DIAMOND SELECTION". Bright medium pink colour. Attractive, ripe plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, bright, refined, slightly spicy, ripe plum-strawberry flavours with a lingering, crisp, effervescent finish. This blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay is very fine indeed. |

TASTING NOTE: A smoky toast note bolsters flavors of black cherry and currant, candied orange peel and spice in this rich, creamy, harmonious rosé, which has firm structure, but its refined texture and mouthwatering acidity combine to form an overall elegant impression. Drink now through 2020. Score - 92 (Alison Napjus, winespectator.com, Nov. 30, 2011) |
