TASTING NOTE: Situated in the town of Tomelloso in La Mancha, Peinado is one of the oldest Brandy producers in Spain. One of the ways they distinguish themselves is by spraying the barrels in their solera with aged brandies, a practice that has helped define their unique style. This offering is very typically Spanish, with white raisin, rich vanilla, clove, orange peel, cedar, spice and more deliciously sweet vanilla on the finish. (VINTAGES panel, June 2014) |
