MALBEC 2011 Mendoza |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
MENDEL |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Somewhat spicy, baked plum, dried cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, fairly extracty, dried plum and baked cherry flavors a lingering, slightly cedary, somewhat peppery, leafy finish. Best with bbq steak. Has 14.1% alcohol and 10 g/L residual sugar. Better than the 2010 (**/**+) released on November 26, 2013 at only $24.95. |
