Bright medium deep golden amber colour. Lovely, caramel-tinged, sweet, essence of warm apple nose. Very faintly sweet, medium-full bodied, viscous, fairly rich, warm ripe apple essence flavours with some caramel notes on the lingering finish. Last appeared in Vintages (***) on February 5, 2005 at $64.95 and was Recommended. CSPC 960773

Full bodied and weighty on the tongue, the long, spicy finish may remind some of mulled apple cider-except this is the real deal. Made with a blend of Calvados aged from 8-40 years.
