LCBO Note Status A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection!
The latest in the popular Twisted portfolio from Flat Rock Cellars, this fun-loving pink wine is an unconventional blend of Syrah and Pinot Noir. This 2014 is the first-ever vintage. TASTING NOTE: More red than pink in the glass, this exuberantly fruit-driven wine opens with aromas of ripe raspberry, cherry and red currant jelly. Fresh and tangy on the palate, it offers up plenty of blackberry and raspberry with a touch of peppery spice and a 'twist' of citrus on the finish. Enjoy this beauty with salmon steaks, charcuterie or roasted veggie sandwiches with goat cheese. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2015) Price $ 16.95
