Cooler and more extreme in its growing conditions than the more well-known Mendoza, Patagonia offers winemakers great opportunity to craft premium-quality wines, and in many ways the full potential of the region is only beginning to be realized. There is something to be said about the fact that the best wines grow in the most difficult conditions, and the intensity, elegance and purity of the wines from southern Patagonia, such as this Cabernet, certainly go a long way to add credence to that argument. |
