Medium light amber colour. this one has an odd, fairly dry, casky, white pepper, grappa-brandy nose. Tangy, just off dry, caramel-driven, coconut, vanilla, grappa-brandy flavours. Interesting but no cigar! CSPC 748830

Distilled from Palomino grapes from Jerez and Airén grapes from La Mancha, Soberano is created in two types of stills then transferred to sherry-seasoned American oak casks. A minimum of six months barrelling is required within the Jerez DO to garner the label ‘Jerez’ brandy. Gonzalez-Byass then blends the brandies in the same way that they create their sherries, with the solera system. Price $ 19.95
