TASTING NOTE: 2011 A Priori Brut blends Macabeo, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Muscat grapes, aged in bottle in contact with the lees for 24 months. The blend used gives the wine an exotic, exuberant and perfumed nose, with notes of white flowers, lemon zest and yeasts, while the palate is extremely fresh and easy to drink, filling your mouth with small bubbles. It has seven grams of sugar. It's a great, light aperitif, and it is a real bargain. Drink now. Score - 91 (Luis Gutierrez, erobertparker.com, Feb. 2014) |
