Medium straw colour. Faintly honeyed, spicy, green apple nose with some faintly earthy notes. Dry, medium-light to light bodied, slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe apple-lemon flavours with a very crisp, toasty, effervescent finish. Ready-to-drink but not a destination at the price. Has 12% alcohol and 15 g/L residual sugar with lot number L11 on the back label. Last appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on December 6, 2014 at $47.95. CSPC 385369

In their 2014 edition, Guide Hachette awarded this wine their highest honour, a perfect 3 stars out of 3, which signifies an Exceptional Wine. TASTING NOTE: A complex and intense nose of bread, brioche, apple and lemon showing long lees aging. The wine is light bodied and racy with lots of intense oyster shell, nectarine and minerality along with some creamy, toasty autolysis notes, all with a very long, seamless finish.
